This series pays homage to a group of talented female artists and the men in their lives (represented by my father and partner). By putting these women prominently before the audience and using elements symbolizing aspects found in their own art, I am representing them as the primary icons.

Cette série met en vedette huit artistes femmes ayant vécues pendant le XXe siècle. Dans leurs portraits, plusieurs éléments retrouvés dans leurs propres œuvres sont utilisées. Elles sont aussi démontrées avec le portrait de leur partenaire artiste (soit mon père ou mon partenaire en costume) dans leurs mains.
